This one's called 'DC Drawers' and I wrote it in France in a lovely forest glade, sat on a formica table I'd dragged into the woods. It's a hazy story of angelic youth’s highs and lows, the joy of the parade, beauty and expectations in our age of voyeurism. A near biblical-style story about the temptation of the angelic, who fall to their doom but are finally uplifted.

She’s got transparent wings and ideas that sing
A compass from ancestral hands
Silver boots weighed to sink
Fingers beckon come right in
No mercy she cries as she wades the swamp

It’s that difficult age when all the world’s a stage
Sending accolades to the pretty
Where the glittering hoards in dalmatian coloured drawers
Give you keys to the city

It was set in stone even cave men were bored
When they glimpsed an inglorious throne
And they were mesmerised
By that enticing fire
They saw the warmth and stepped right in

Step right in
Step right up
Let’s see those wings shimmer

The heat it burned not felt at first
But with spectacular devotion
