It was recorded and mixed straight to analogue tape at Gizzard Studios London. “The closer I am to freedom the higher I can be”
It's the first single from her new album out later this year. Celebrating Springtime. A plea for freedom about getting high on life, singing the pinks not the blues, plugging into the cosmos, Nico micro-dosing with the Shangri-Las, swathes of droney Hammond, tambo, cyclical guitar riffs twirl us to the light, reminding us to hold on, lean in lift up, reach higher.
